Proof of Change Project is developing Proof Pals, a Big Buddy, Little Buddy Intergenerational Program that will bring children and older adults together to talk, learn, create, play, and make meaningful memories.
This program is being created to help reduce loneliness among older adults while giving children positive relationships, new experiences, and meaningful time away from their devices.
Through stories, games, creative projects, life lessons, and community service, participants will discover that wisdom does not belong to just one age group.
Every generation has something to teach. Every generation has something to learn.
What Proof Pals Will Offer
- Meaningful conversations and shared stories
- Arts, crafts, games, and device-free activities
- Opportunities to learn skills from different generations
- Community-service projects completed together
- Friendship, companionship, and a stronger sense of belonging
- Safe, supervised gatherings for children and older adults
